From Dr. Paul

Circumstances are neutral. What you do next is not.

Would you like to feel better about a circumstance that isn't changing? Would you like a real process instead of a slogan? Would you like to know why “just think positive” never seems to stick?

Here's where I always start. Circumstances themselves are neutral. They aren't good or bad until you evaluate them. That's not a trick of language, it's the whole hinge the model turns on: two people can live through the exact same week and come out of it in two different places, because they evaluated it differently.

Most of what people call “staying positive” skips straight to forcing a feeling. This model doesn't. It gives you the two real moves, in order: how you evaluate what's actually happening, and how you create what happens next. Skip either one and positivity turns into faking it, which never lasts.

What’s inside

What the model shows you:

This is 2 pages, not a workbook. Print it, keep it where you'll actually see it, and the next time a circumstance lands on you sideways, run the model instead of reaching for whatever mood shows up first.

Why circumstances are neutral, and what that actually buys you.
Not positive thinking. A choice point you didn't know you had.
The evaluation step.
How gratitude, mindset, and the story you tell yourself about “what is” decide how a circumstance feels, before you've done a single thing about it.
The creation step.
The short process behind “what we think about, we bring about”: how a thought becomes a feeling, a feeling becomes an action, and an action becomes the life you're actually living.
How the two steps work together.
Evaluate wrong, and you'll create more of what you didn't want. Get both right, and positivity stops being something you wait for.

Who's teaching it

I'm Dr. Paul Jenkins, a Positivity Psychologist.

I've spent more than 30 years in clinical practice helping people build this exact skill, and this is the same model I still hand clients in my own coaching today. It's what I've seen work firsthand, applied on the days it's genuinely hard to apply.
